MSV Focus HEX

Now $20
In Germany MSV stands for Mauve - Sport - Versand. We are convinced the English translation is -- More Sizzling Victories!

MSV Focus Hex is a first-class string offering consumers some significant firsts:

1. First co-poly string available in a solid BLACK color. (Menacing looks can intimidate opponents.)

2. First co-poly string offering extremely reasonable durability that is available in an 18L, 1.10mm, version. (Sic, and we mean "SIC" spin potential!)

3. First high-quality HEX-shaped co-poly available at an afforable cost. (Much less than other Hexagonal co-polys, including Pro Supex Blue Gear and Signum Pro Plasma HEXtreme.)

Construction: New Generation CoPoly string extruded in a Hexagonal form.

Advantage: This co-poly features solid tension maintenace and long lasting performance. While Luxilon ALU loses 17% tension overnight, the MSV Focus Hex lost a total of just 13% after 30 days and several hours of heavy play. While impressive, the most exciting advantage of this string is simply, "SPIN POTENTIAL." Playtesters describe this string in all gauges as "The absolute BEST spin string ever developed." With the 1.10mm version, this may actually be an understatement!

In addition to spin and ability to hold it's playability, this string is also extremely comfortable. German lab tests have shown it to be superior to leading brands in the categories of elongation and elasticity. This leads to added comfort, power and all-around solid performance.

Gauges: 17 (1.23mm), 18 (1.18mm)
Colors: White, Black, Red

hi,

i have strung both my racquets with MSV Focus Hex (1.23mm).

first racquet strung at 58lbs (full Poly). amazing spin and comfort.. after 4hours of playing, still feels good and no notching on the strings..

Second racquet strung hybrid at 52/58(main MSV, cross PSGD17). results? just one word.. amazing!

but Pro Supex Blue Gear including stringing is only $18 so its cheaper than MSV Hex

hi Anonymous,

Where can i get 18 for blue gear? The gear shape techonogly is out dated, this gear shape string was previously use on MSV classic poly - MSV Poly Better Spin some four years back. And was used by Pacific on their Kelvar some 10 years ago.

$2 is not a big difference as long as the quality of stringing is good. so in term of string movement, comfort , durability feel and potential spin. MSV Focus Hex or blue gear is better?

Does the MSV Focus Hex provide the similar comfort and feel that provided by synthetic gut? since its a COpoly.

I read that blue gear feels soft and more comfortable than most polys. Plus has extra spin. I know someone in Singapore who has blue gear. MSV Hex is like Signum Pro Plasma Hextreme, 6 flat sides. I tried and did not get extra spin from HEXtreme. Also very harsh string.

hi you can get the blue gear from in house jono restring services. and it is cheaper and also more value for money compare to HEX. so are you trying to say that hextreme is not as good as what darren had mentioned. try only when the review fits the bill.
